WE ARE A LONG TERM RV PARK ONLY.

Great Sky RV Park Wedowee LLC is situated in the northeast section of Lake Wedowee, also known as Harris Reservoir, just north of the 48 Bridge on the Wedowee Creek Branch. This premier destination among Lake Wedowee campgrounds features a master plan that includes fifty-four (54) beautifully wooded long-term campsites, with the first phase located right on the lakefront. Phase one opened in 2022, offering eighteen (18) sites, all boasting water views and approximately eight (8) with direct waterfrontage. This phase also includes the main amenity area, which features a private boat ramp, two floating docks, community fire pit, and space for future amenities. Currently, phase two is now open, with the first sites available, adding another eighteen (9) sites and additional amenities to enhance the Lake Wedowee camping experience. Our campground spans approximately 14 acres of former farmland and includes a spring and creek that once supplied drinking water to local homes and farms before public water was introduced. The property features over 700 feet of lake frontage in the summer and approximately 600 feet of dockable water in the winter, ensuring year-round water access for our guests. Great Sky RV Park is the perfect choice for those seeking a great camping experience at Lake Wedowee RV parks.

Asphalt millings instead of gravel make our driveways easier on the eyes and less noisy than traditional gravel.

Our Rates

Welcome to Great Sky RV Park, a long-term only RV park offering annual lease terms. Located near Lake Wedowee, our park provides a serene environment for those looking for Lake Wedowee camping experiences. All rents are due on the 1st day of your lease, and rates may change at the owner's discretion, with notice provided no less than 60 days in advance of any rate increase.

NOTES:

For applicants, a $40 screening fee is required, which the applicant pays directly to the screening company.

A $300 refundable security deposit may be required to lease a site for which there is no deck or roof structure.

The security deposit will be returned if the tenant builds a deck or roof on the site, making it a perfect addition to the Lake Wedowee RV parks.
