Relax and unwind on Lake Wedowee

Great Sky RV Park Wedowee LLC is located on the north east section of Lake Wedowee (aka Harris Reservoir) north of the 48 Bridge on the Wedowee Creek Branch. Our campground master plan currently includes fifty-four (54) nicely wooded long term camp sites with the first phase located directly on the lake front. Phase one opened in 2022 and included eighteen (18) sites, all with water views and approximately eight (8) sites with direct waterfrontage. The first phase included the main amenity area and has a private boat ramp, floating dock, community fire pit, and space for future amenity additions. Phase two (2) is now under construction and the first sites are slated to be available in March 2024. Plans include another eighteen (18) sites along with additional amenities. Our campground sits on approximately 14 acres of former farmland and includes a spring and creek that used to provide drinking water to several local homes and farms before public water was made available to the community. The property has over 700 feet of lake frontage in the summer and approximately 600 feet of dockable water in the winter. Yes we have year round water access. 

A few things that really set Great Sky apart from other RV Parks around Lake Wedowee:

• The public road access is fully paved, with gently sloped asphalt roads leading all the way to our entry.
• No mud on your car or RV or worrying about dangerous, slippery road access.  
• Located just 2 miles from the Wedowee Bait and Tackle and fuel station.  Grab ice, bait, food & fuel without loosing time driving back into town. 
• Our site layout allows for RV side views into the woods or toward the lake and not into your neighbor's RV.
• Trees have been saved between sites.
• Asphalt millings instead of gravel makes our driveways easier on the eyes and less noisy than gravel.
• Surrounding pastoral farmland with fields, horses, and huge mature trees.

We are a long term only RV park with annual lease terms. 

All rents are due on the 1st day of your lease. Rates are subject to change at the owner's discretion. Notice will be provided not less than 60 days in advance of any rate increase. 

2024 Rates are as follows:

• Waterfront Sites - $6,500/YR (2 SITES AVAILABLE)
• Phase 1 Sites - $5,000/YR (OPEN NOW)
• Phase 2 Sites - $3500-5000/YR (COMING SOON)

NOTES:

For applicants, a $35-$40 screening fee is required, which the applicant pays direct to the screening company.

A $300 refundable security deposit may be required to lease a site for which there is no deck or roof structure.

The security deposit will be returned if tenant builds a deck or roof on the site.
